Want to start the new year in style whilst waiting for that paycheck to hit? Well so do we, and we sure as heck are going to….

Scenery Chewery and Bon Chic Bon Genre proudly brings Destroy All Monsters to 93 Feet East on Tuesday the 26th Jan and its FREE, FREE, FREE!!!!

A hand picked line up of musical performers and an esteemed jockey of discs spinning the hottest of wax will be taking to the stage.

Highlights promised are an adult size helping of rock noir from DEATHLINE, some sweet acoustic "riballadry" (Editor's note: What?!) courtesy of LIAM BUTLER, head-spining electronica featuring a bone fide string quartet and mystery guests from Welsh wunderkind CULPRIT 1, and to end the night some seriously freaky dancing sounds and audio visuals courtesy of cutting edge experimentalists POSTHUMAN and DIGITONAL.

Providing the musical flow throughout this very special evening will be an exclusive DJ set from Say Yes!, and a special appearance by the curator, London’s very own ‘Bon Chic Bon Genre’ (the hammer that knocks the nails in).

Proceeds from the bar will go to the charity Youth Music (www.youthmusic.org.uk), and there will be donation buckets for your loose change, so buy a drink and unburden your wallets if you can. It’s free, but it’s also for a good cause!

An improvised live showcase of two electronic acts of different disciplines: the beautiful & lush cinematics of modern classical crossover act Digitonal, against the jacked up electro, techno & breaks of Posthuman.

Digitonal, known for their chameleon-like fluid line-up, ever shifting around central composer Andrew Dobson, have made a name for themselves as one of the leading modern classical & electronica live acts in the UK today. With performances ranging from The Big Chill Festival,
Bestival, Cheltenham Festival of Classical Music, the Gateshead Sage,
to the Akropolis in Prague, and Norberg Festival in Sweden, their live
show encompasses live harp, violin, clarinet, and cello - all bound
together with a backbone of laptop trickery.

"An artist with an innate ability to focus on a feeling: iDJ. Culprit 1 has also earned the ringing endorsement of the dance community. His latest single 'Tricks' was remixed by none other than Paul Hartnoll of the legendary Orbital, one of Culp's childhood heroes. Paul was quickly followed on remix duties by a leading light of the new breed - award-winning breakbeat producer Rogue Element. Incidentally, Culp has already returned the favour for Mr. Hartnoll - his version of Paul's new single 'Please' was released in April 2007 on the Kids label. Culprit 1's live shows have been consistently entertaining ever since his first effort ended abruptly in a chaotic mess of exploding speakers and overcooked cabling. He recently played a storming set at SXSW in Austin, Texas before touring the UK with American experimentalists Subtle. He's also performed alongside electronica buddies Bonobo, Caribou, High Contrast and Mylo.
