Scenery Chewer #13 - Hi How Are You?

"Don't call it a comeback" - LL Cool J

Well, we didn't stay away for long.

The new Scenery Chewer will be harder, better, faster, and stronger than before, and like a four year old little Sri Lankan boy, it will charm and dazzle you with its devastatingly good looks and stunning smile.

From now on, YOU get to curate Scenery Chewer nights. So if you, your band, your work colleagues, your arts collective, your website, your magazine, hell, even your family, want to pick some performers and artists for your own Scenery Chewer event, let me know.

To kick us off, we have a belter.

The night will celebrate the first single launch of our good friends, Record Department, with support from some cracking new faces and some lovely old ones.

Record Department (www.recorddepartment.co.uk)
Vivian Volta (www.myspace.com/voltavolta)
Calling Cairo (www.myspace.com/callingcairo)
Falling Majesties (www.myspace.com/thefallingmajesties)

Our resident DJ, the mysterious and elusive BCBG, will provide the aural fondling.

Also, we have a photography exhibition from the not-for-profit organisation R-Point (www.rpoint.org.uk).

At the end of the night, the kindly 93 Feet East will make a donation to children's music charity, Youth Music. This means that, because Scenery Chewer is solely concerned with raising money for charity rather than personal gain, this night is FREE FREE FREE.

Come play with us.

Tiru
Producer and Founder of Scenery Chewer
